You’re Not Eligible for Planning for Canada Services Right Now

This decision is based on the information provided during the eligibility check.

Based on your responses, you do not currently meet the eligibility requirements for Planning for Canada’s pre-arrival services.

Our services are funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and are available only to approved immigrants who are living outside Canada and have received an official IRCC confirmation document.

This does not mean there is a problem with your application — only that you are not eligible for our services at this stage.

Common Reasons You May Not Be Eligible Yet

You may see this message if:

  • You are currently living in Canada
  • You have not yet applied to immigrate to Canada
  • You have applied but have not received an eligible IRCC confirmation document
  • You are already in Canada
  • You are coming to Canada on a temporary visa (worker, student, or visitor)

What You Can Do Next

Even if you’re not eligible for Planning for Canada services right now, you can still prepare.

Option 1: Access free immigrants resources

Explore practical guides, checklists, and tools you can use at your own pace.

Option 2:
Check eligibility again later

If your situation changes — for example, after you receive an eligible IRCC document — you can return and complete the eligibility check again.
